At long last, Los Angeles International Airport has unveiled a new and greatly improved Terminal 2 with an updated look and a plethora of new amenities. Sustainable design is a key component of the improvements which incorporate new technology including lighting and decreased water consumption. Passengers will enjoy major upgrades to the ticket lobby, baggage screening, baggage claim area, concourse areas and all systems.
New retail stores and dining establishments line each side of the terminal. A variety of food and beverage is available from casual to upscale including a fine wine bar. Duty Free is a sign that many international travelers take advantage of and Terminal 2’s features nearly 900 square feet of retail space. It includes beauty products, fragrances, wine, spirits, chocolate and tobacco in addition to many other items.
Terminal 2 seating throughout is comfortable and work areas with electric plug outlets are plentiful. Terminal 2 now offers a pleasant kick off for passengers to enjoy prior to their upcoming travel arrangements.
