The best recipe for fun filled holiday entertainment calls for a mixture of Charles Dickens’ traditional and beloved A Christmas Carol spiced with contemporary comments about the world we live in. Mix in the musical genius of Carole King. Stir thoroughly with a colorful, talented group of actors, singers and dancers who provide plenty of comedy…some extemporaneous…interacting with the audience. Dressed, for the most part, in period costumes with some glamour thrown in the multi-talented group continues to delight appreciative audiences with their unique interpretation of the classic novel.
For their 18th annual holiday offering The Troubies (of the Troubadour Theater Company) have brilliantly combined the timeless Dickens story with the soulful sounds of songstress Carole King. To offer a small sample of what’s in store, the extraordinary voices of the Troubies ask Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, is it Too Late Baby?, do you Feel the Earth Under Your Feet and many more classics, ending with You’ve Got A Friend in the Troubies! A not to be missed feel good show for the holidays!
