The intimate Pico Playhouse was alive with laughter as a new play, New York Water opened. As the audience looked in on the lives of a couple, who met online, in the privacy of their various living rooms across the country, they witnessed the rise of a pretty young receptionist to great heights…well a bit up and down…while the shy accountant struggles to stay with her no matter what. It’s a comedy about chaos, bad judgement and misplaced feelings in the chaotic world we live in. The two actors, Bridget Flanery and Ross Benjamin evoked both sympathy and laughter from the audience as the couple moved from New York City to the mid west and on to Los Angeles. You will have to see the play to find out what happens next. A charming comedy written by Sam Bobrick and produced by the West Coast Jewish Theatre.
