Guaranteed — an Evening of Fun and Laughter

by Valerie Summers

The audience at the Colony Theater left with big smiles on their faces after listening to the hilarious Brad Zimmerman.  It’s pretty much a true to  life story of a nice Jewish boy who decided not to become a doctor or a lawyer which was expected by his family but found his passion on stage making people laugh.

On his way to the stage he waited tables for 29 years to pay the bills while pursuing his career as an actor.  Finally….he connected with well known comedians and began opening for them at various venues…Joan Rivers, Brad Garrett and George Carlin among them. He tells of his journey to follow his dream and his interaction with his dear mother who tries in her own way to redirect him to a more “respectable” profession.

Throughout the show Zimmerman interacts with the audience and keeps them laughing. Don’t miss My Son the Waiter: A Jewish Tragedy direct from 15 months Off Broadway in New York.
